Elder Johnny Will Dukes, III was born on July 27, 1970, in Saginaw, Michigan to Mr. & Mrs. J.W. Dukes II. On June 6, 1992, Pastor Dukes united in holy matrimony to Irene M. Archeambeau. God blessed this union with three beautiful children, Jasmine Blu Dukes, Johnny W. Dukes IV, and Jeffery Xavier Dukes.
He graduated from Buena Vista High School the year of 1989. He is currently working in the manufactured home industry as a community manager.
The Lord had his hands on this young man and God was about to do great things. In the year of 1998 while living in Knoxville, TN he heard the voice of the Lord calling him to return to his hometown. After returning home and recommitting his life he showed a hunger and thirst for God. Elder Dukes responded to his divine calling to preach his first trial sermon (Extra - Extra I Got Good News) on February 18, 2001. He was later ordained as an Elder on August 5, 2005. After working faithfully with his local church and serving in many area’s of the church: choir member, deacon board, Y.P.W.W President, Public Relations, Headquarters District Choir President, Regional Coordinator of Southwest Michigan Music Department, and Adjutant to the Bishop.
Elder Dukes was installed as pastor of the Lewis Temple Church Of God In Christ on August 16, 2009 under the leadership of Bishop Fred Lewis.
His motto:” The Devil Don’t Like It, But I Am Blessed Like That!”
